On November 12, 2025, the 28th Beijing Hong Kong Economic Cooperation Symposium with the theme of "Beijing Hong Kong Joining Hands to Connect the World" was grandly opened in Hong Kong, China. This conference features an opening ceremony, themed promotions, 13 special events, and investment negotiations, bringing together over 800 representatives from government agencies, international business associations, leading enterprises, and the business community in Beijing and Hong Kong to discuss new opportunities for cooperation. The special activities focus on key areas such as the construction of international science and technology innovation centers, financial services, digital economy, green development, and intellectual property, comprehensively promoting the deepening of cooperation between Beijing and Hong Kong.

As an important part of the cooperation between Beijing and Hong Kong, the "Gathering Beijing and Hong Kong, Connecting the World - Working Together with the World" themed promotion event, jointly hosted by the Chaoyang District People's Government and the Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center, and organized by the Chaoyang District Investment Promotion Service Center, was successfully held on the same day, attracting more than 200 representatives from government departments, industry organizations, key enterprises, and professional service fields in both Beijing and Hong Kong. Nie Jieying, Deputy Secretary of Chaoyang District Committee and District Mayor, stated in her speech that an open world is the stage for Chaoyang, and an open Chaoyang is the opportunity for the world. She introduced that as of now, the entire region has gathered nearly 4000 Hong Kong funded enterprises, accounting for 40% of the total number of foreign enterprises in the region. The contracted foreign investment amount of Hong Kong funded enterprises has reached 89.293 billion US dollars, accounting for 66% of the contracted foreign investment in the region. At the event, Chaoyang District signed 12 major investment projects and strategic cooperation projects, covering key areas such as finance, technology, culture and tourism, and business.

During the conference, Lawyer Pan Shilin also participated in a series of institutional visits with more than ten lawyers and entrepreneur member representatives from the Ruijie Private Board. During the three-day trip, he visited three influential professional service institutions in Hong Kong and even the Asia Pacific region, namely U&I Group, Wilkinson&Grist, and APIAC-HKAC.
