On November 4, 2025, Zhao Xiangle, Assistant to the Co-Chairs and Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Arbitration Center of the Asia-Pacific International Arbitration Center (APIAC), along with APIAC arbitrator Yin Guanjun and others, visited Zhilin Law Firm. They engaged in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics in international arbitration. The firm's founding partner and executive director, Lawyer Pan Shilin, along with senior lawyers from various fields, received the visiting delegation. This high-level dialogue laid a solid foundation for deepening collaboration between the two parties and will inject new momentum into building a more diverse and efficient Asia-Pacific dispute resolution system.

With the continuous advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative and the deepening of regional economic and trade cooperation, disputes in areas such as cross-border investment, international trade, and intellectual property protection have become increasingly complex and diverse. Against this backdrop, international commercial arbitration, with its advantages of professionalism, efficiency, and cross-border enforcement of rulings, has increasingly emerged as a crucial channel for resolving transnational commercial disputes. As Zhilin's traditional core business, litigation and arbitration serve as the cornerstone of the firm's development. Zhilin lawyers not only actively participate in litigation cases involving major domestic judicial institutions such as the Supreme People's Court, various巡回法庭, Intellectual Property Courts, and Maritime Courts, but also possess extensive practical experience in renowned domestic and international arbitration institutions like the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, providing strong support for expanding international commercial dispute resolution services.
During the exchange, Lawyer Pan Shilin systematically introduced Zhilin's international development path and strategic planning in the field of commercial arbitration. He mentioned that in the face of an increasingly complex international business environment, Zhilin will focus on building a cross jurisdictional service system, integrating high-quality resources in the Asia Pacific region, promoting cutting-edge theoretical exploration, innovating the "arbitration+" diversified service model, and continuously improving the quality of legal services. This development approach is highly in line with the current direction of evolution in the international arbitration market.
As an arbitration institution with significant influence in the Pacific Rim region, the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Court has established arbitration centers in eight countries and regions including Singapore, Hong Kong, and Malaysia, building an international arbitration service cluster covering a wide range of areas. Its unique cross jurisdictional architecture provides professional and efficient arbitration service solutions for economic and trade exchanges and commercial disputes in the region. The visit of APIAC not only reflects recognition of Zhilin's professional level, but also creates valuable opportunities for Zhilin to access the international arbitration system and enhance its influence in the global legal services market.
In the future, Zhilin will rely on its professional accumulation to seize the increasing visibility and recognition of the arbitration market in the Asia Pacific region on the international stage. Through measures such as deepening international cooperation, improving service models, and cultivating foreign-related talents, it will continuously enhance its voice in the field of international commercial dispute resolution and participate in the construction of the global legal service system with a more open attitude.
